How to convert video for DVD and CD with ConvertVid?
If you have your recordings from your digital camcorder or movies on your computer, you might like to convert video for DVD to play them on your DVD player. DVD is an optical disc storage technology for video, audio and other data. DVD is the format of choice for people who value functionality and simplicity above all.
1. Get a proper DVD video convertor

The installation process is quite simple and intuitive. Run the installation, and follow the onscreen instructions to install the application.
2. Choose format to convert video for DVD
After you launch ConvertVid, choose the DVD format in the "Output format" section of the ConvertVid main window to convert videos for DVD. ConvertVid converts video to MPEG-2 format by default. To convert video for CD, choose the VCD Format (*.mpg) or MPEG-1 Video.
Then drag and drop any video files into the application main window to convert video for DVD. Alternatively, you can click on the blue button on the top-left that has a "+" sign to add video.
3. Set the advanced options and convert video for DVD
You can also set advanced options to convert video for DVD. ConvertVid recommends using the default options, but you might need to change them for some reason. You can change audio and video encoders, set audio and video bitrate, frame rate and audio sampling rate for the output files, change frame size, volume and audio channels.

Click on the Convert button (the orange button on the top) to convert all selected videos for DVD.
4. Burn a DVD with any DVD burner installed
That's it! Now you have all your videos converted to a DVD player compatible format. The only thing left for you is burning your discs. For this purpose use any DVD burner installed on your PC.
